There are no skills, there is no database, no forumlas, save one, and thats common sense. Common sense, orcs get mad and go into blood thirsty rages but often lack defense and intelegence, Elves are agile and good with bow and arrow but skinny and not as strong as the other races, Dwarves have emmince strength for such a small stature but small legs prevent long distance movement and agility, Humans are normal without advantage or disadvantage.
If you attempt to take on even a small army by youreself, you are asking for trouble. Say an unarmored orc charges against ten men in chainmail, all equiped with swords. The orc is going to get cut to pieces. If the soldiers are unarmored the orc would stand a batter chance, but the soldiers would probably gang up on the orc and still kill it. If a lone soldier stood in a hallway with a halberd or pike against ten orcs, unarmored with swords, the soldier could hold them at bay at least for a short time, since the orcs cant get close enough to strike and are held back. If ten orcs and ten human soldiers, both sides with chainmail and swords, it would be near an even match, with the winner more likely being the side who manages to kill one of the enemy first, then they have a spare soldier to aid the rest of thier group. As cool as it would be, the movie style fights wont always be happening, a single soldier cant hold off an entire army. However, if a band of soldiers attempted a divide and conquer stratagey they could inflict large causulties against the enemies.
But to ansewer youre questions, The longer a charecter fights the more likely the injury, it also depends on the equipment used by either side. (Upon starting, youre charecter is equiped with whatever you like, but consider weight, manuverability, etc. and what tactics you plan on using, a heavily armored soldier cant run all day and fight all night.) A fight between a swordsman and say an elf using a knife of some sort, it depends how the swordsman fights. The elf, unless badly hit upon first strike, would probably leave the swordsman with a few major cuts. I plan in it being very realistic, so just consider and think for a moment, the elemnt of suprise, armor, weapons, tactics, consider before attacking, also consider race. All but the tiredest, or stupidest men and elves set up sentry guards, it is crucial to any suprise attack to take out sentries. Also consider terrain and buildings. I knowingly put walls and forts all over, not all are in the best condition, but they provide an effective defense. Am i loosing you on this ?

Two apologies, firstly, i meant most orcs, there are exceptions, but the typical orc is a dumb berserker. the second... i never played warcraft, so i dont know who thrall is. You can make exceptions, but like many other fantasy worlds, most[not all] orcs are dumb berserkers. Youre charecter can be intellegent as... thrall was it ? Design youre charecter to fit youre likings.

And thrall smelt bad lol jk I have never played warcraft name= Hundin race= Dwarf leader(yes/no)= Yes If so, how many men ?= 450 dwarf warriors (mix of weapons) occupation= General location= Varies, travels to where needed history/bio(optional)= One of the only survivors of the battle of Blood River, he fought on the frontline only him and his brother Fundin surving the onslaught of that section of the armies. After they returned from that battle they were awarded for their bravery and valour and later were promoted to veteran general. Soon they left again to war against the wild men but during the final battle Hundins brother fell to the former king of the wild men tribes in that battle vengance was wrought as the wild king fell to Hundins blade. They won that battle but the war was drawn as they were forced out of the lands, Hundin once again returned to his homeland but at the age of onehundred and twenty eight he was ordered to rerturn to the field of Blood river to fight off the northern armies... province of origin(optional)= Ik-Thar And Saimol rping is exactly the same as writing a story but you only control your character and what he does, you can't finish it or kill another character only the former of the story or the person who controls that character can do that...

As at first our charecters will most likely be far away from each other and time wont matter precisely, in youre intro post you may claim it is any time of the day you wish, we will all assume it is the morning/noon/night of the same day. Since it seems we are all ready, if i remember i will get to the prelude posts in the morning and then we will be ready to go.
